Mitto Debuts New Bookmarklet for Accessing Password-Protected Sites

Los Angeles, CA, 2010-01-12 —

Compatible with most popular online browsers, the Mitto Bookmarklet gives users one-click access to sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Mitto.com, a leading Internet password manager, today announced the release of the new Mitto Bookmarklet. Compatible with the leading Internet browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome, the Mitto Bookmarklet simplifies the process of logging into Internet sites while enhancing password protection and personal security.

The Mitto Bookmarklet makes it easy for users to log into their favorite sites by allowing them to instantly access their favorite sites. They can now store their important and sensitive password information with Mitto and then log-in directly to the site by using the Mitto Bookmarklet, providing a secure solution that offers more mobility than password management software.

One of the advantages of Mitto is its one-click access: instead of having to remember log-in and password information for a variety of sites, users can store their information with Mitto and then access it with one click of a mouse. The new Mitto Bookmarklet extends this functionality by letting users store log-in information for sites that previously were not compatible with Mitto’s one-click log-in, including Facebook, Twitter and several online banking institutions.

The new Mitto Bookmarklet adds functionality and convenience to logging into online sites without sacrificing security. Users can now access more online sites than ever with one Mitto password, allowing them to create more complex passwords that are also more difficult for hackers to crack. And unlike password software, the Mitto Bookmarklet gives a person access to passwords on any computer.

“We’re continually looking for ways to make logging into online sites safer and easier,” said Arsen Ovanessoff, CEO of Mitto. “Our new Mitto Bookmarklet gives our users one-click access to some of the most popular sites in the world while providing the high level of security our customers have come to expect. Best of all, the Mitto Bookmarklet is all part of our  free password manager, meaning that there’s no reason for people who frequently surf the web to not use this amazing application.”
