The idea for Mitto started because founders Arsen Ovanessoff and Ted Schundler needed a way to keep track of the hundreds of passwords they were accumulating personally and for work. As they discussed the situation, it was clear that there was an opportunity to offer other Internet users a service that helped them manage this password confusion. In 2007, Arsen Ovanessoff (Masters in MIS and Entrepreneurship) and Ted Schundler (Masters in Computer Engineering) began working on such a service. A few months into the project, PR specialist and Web Developer, Matt Ash joined the development effort. With a shared passion for the Internet and entrepreneurship, they had vision to create a service that not only solved the password problem, but also enhanced a user's online experience.
